Sonata Software Secures Major IT Outsourcing Contract with Premier US Healthcare Company

Sonata Software announced in a stock exchange filing that the company has made a significant strategic IT outsourcing partnership with a leading US-based healthcare and wellness company. 

This collaboration, secured in June 2024 after a thorough evaluation process, was highlighted during Sonata’s Q1 FY25 earnings call on July 31, 2024. The partnership underscores Sonata’s commitment to enhancing healthcare delivery by supporting its client in two key areas: optimising IT budgets and modernising technology landscapes.

The healthcare company, known for providing personalised, high-quality care to vulnerable patients and underserved populations, will benefit from Sonata’s expertise in enterprise data, artificial intelligence, and hyper-automation. These technological advancements will be applied across patient-facing systems and back-office operations, driving systemic improvements and cost efficiencies. 

By leveraging Sonata’s engineering levers, the client aims to deliver superior care in challenging clinical environments and behavioural health settings. This partnership reflects Sonata’s growing influence in the healthcare sector and its ability to drive innovation and transformation in critical areas of patient care.

Meanwhile, in Q1 FY 2025, Sonata Software reported a total income of ₹2,54,630 lakh, which grew from ₹2,04,366 lakh in Q1 FY 2024. The company’s profit was ₹10,563 lakh in Q1 FY 2025, which dropped from ₹12,012 lakh in Q1 FY 2024.
