Star Health and Allied Insurance Company Limited announced that it has achieved a significant milestone, setting new benchmarks in the health insurance industry. The company has announced that it has processed over 60 claims and conducted more than 100 claim transactions through the National Health Claims Exchange (NHCX) system, one of the highest figures reported by any health insurance provider on this platform.

This achievement highlights Star Health Insurance’s commitment to efficient customer service and rapid claim settlement. The company’s integration with the NHCX platform, which began with its first transaction in July 2024, underscores its dedication to enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring policyholder satisfaction. Initially collaborating with over seven service providers, Star Health has consistently scaled its operations, successfully managing over 10 claim transactions within the first two days and now surpassing 100.

The NHCX platform, an integral part of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), standardises health claim processing and facilitates seamless information exchange among insurers, healthcare providers, and policyholders. This integration positions Star Health Insurance at the forefront of the industry by automating health claim-related information exchanges. The platform is expected to streamline the claims process, reduce turnaround times, and enhance the overall customer experience.

Commenting on this achievement, the MD and CEO of Star Health Insurance, Mr Anand Roy, said, “Processing over 100 claim transactions through the NHCX platform isn’t just a number – it’s a promise fulfilled.
