  • Reliance Industries

As per media reports, Reliance Industries is aiming for an IPO for Reliance Jio in 2025. The company has seen significant growth, becoming India’s top telecom player with 479 million subscribers. However, there is no official announcement yet.

  • Adani Power 

Amid payment dispute, Adani Power has reduced the power supply to Bangladesh with the company halving its electricity exports due to delayed dues of $846 million. 

  • Bata India

During Q2 FY25, Bata India reported a strong growth of 53% in net profit to Rs 51.97 crore, up from Rs 33.99 crore in the same period last year. Revenue increased by 2.2 per cent to Rs 837.14 crore.

  • Zomato

The food delivery giant, Zomato faced scrutiny after the FSSAI discovered incorrect packaging dates on mushroom packets from a vendor in its Hyperpure warehouse. However, CEO Deepinder Goyal came to the rescue and clarified that it was a manual error by the vendor and that the vendor had been delisted. 

  • Maruti Suzuki India

Maruti Suzuki’s push for global expansion, mainly in electric vehicles (EVs), is gaining momentum. The company aims to double its exports by 2030, with a focus on international markets like Europe and Japan.

  • Eicher Motors

Royal Enfield’s announcement of its new electric vehicle brand, Flying Flea, signals Eicher Motors’ entry into the EV market. The company plans to launch the Flying Flea C-6 model in 2026, blending classic retro styling with cutting-edge EV technology.

  • Raymond

Raymond reported a significant 63% drop in net profit for Q2 FY25, with earnings falling to ₹59.01 crore, down from ₹161.16 crore in the same period last year. Despite the decline in profit, total income surged to ₹1,100.70 crore, up from ₹512.35 crore.

  • Vedanta

Cairn Oil & Gas, part of the Vedanta Group, has committed to cutting methane emissions as part of its broader strategy to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2030.
