On Tuesday, December 10, 2024, the Indian benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty 50 are expected to open cautiously followed by mixed global market cues. Check out a few stocks that might be in focus during the trading session.

  • Vodafone Idea (Vi)

Vodafone Idea board has approved a fundraising plan worth ₹1,980 crore through a preferential issue to promoter group entities, Omega Telecom Holdings and Usha Martin Telematics. These entities will receive shares worth ₹1,280 crore and ₹700 crore, respectively. The issuance involves 1.75 billion equity shares at ₹11.28 per share, with a face value of ₹10 each.

  • Power Finance Corporation (PFC)

PFC raised ₹6,252 crore through bond issuances with different maturities. This included ₹3,200 crore via 15-year bonds at a 7.11% coupon and ₹3,052 crore via 10-year bonds at a 7.10% coupon.

  • JSW Steel

JSW Steel reported consolidated crude steel production of 23.23 lakh tonnes for November, a 5% increase year-on-year. Production at Indian operations grew 7% YoY, with capacity utilisation reaching 94% for the month.

  • C.E. Info Systems (MapmyIndia)

C.E. Info Systems, the parent company of MapmyIndia, cancelled its plans to invest in a new mapping services firm being set up by its outgoing CEO.

  • Tata Motors

Tata Motors has announced a 3% price hike across all vehicle segments, reflecting adjustments for rising input costs and market conditions.

  • Bharat Electronics (BEL)

BEL secured a ₹634 crore order for the maintenance of the Akash Missile System, along with other communication equipment, jammers, and electronic voting machines. BEL’s total orders for FY25 now stand at ₹8,828 crore.

  • Metropolis Healthcare

Metropolis Healthcare board has approved the acquisition of Core Diagnostics, a specialised cancer diagnostics firm, valuing the deal at ₹246.8 crore.

  • LIC

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the “Bima Sakhi Yojana,” an initiative by LIC to enrol 1,00,000 women as Bima Sakhi agents within a year, empowering women financially.
