Indian shares are likely to be impacted by weak global trends on Wednesday. GIFT Nifty futures last indicated a decline of 73 points, trading at 23,887.
On Tuesday, the BSE Sensex fell 820.97 points, closing at 78,675.18, and the NSE Nifty50 dropped by 257.85 points to settle at 23,883.45.
Hyundai Motor India shares in focus as it reported a Q2 FY25 consolidated revenue of ₹17,260 crore, down 8% YoY from ₹18,660 crore in the same period last year.
Nykaa shares in focus as it recorded a 67% increase in net profit to ₹13 crore in Q2, up from ₹7.8 crore a year ago. However, sequentially, net profit dipped 4% from ₹13.6 crore.
Zydus Lifesciences shares in focus as it posted a 13.8% YoY rise in net profit for Q2 to ₹911.2 crore from ₹800.7 crore, with a 20% YoY increase in revenue to ₹5,237 crore.
Sula Vineyards shares in focus as it saw a 37% drop in net profit to ₹14 crore in Q2 FY25, down from ₹23 crore last year, with revenue slightly down at ₹141.21 crore.
BSE shares in focus as it reported a remarkable 188% jump in net profit to ₹346.75 crore, while revenue surged by 137% to ₹746 crore.
Britannia shares in focus as the company is focused on growing market share while maintaining profitability, though minor volume impacts may occur in the short term.
