On July 18, 2024, Tanla Platforms Limited, India’s leading CPaaS provider, reported its financial results for the first quarter of FY25.

Key Financial Highlights

The company achieved a revenue of ₹1,002 crore, reflecting a 10.0% year-over-year increase. Gross profit rose by 11.7% to ₹269 crore, with a gross margin of 26.9%. EBITDA grew by 3.5% to ₹189 crore, resulting in an EBITDA margin of 18.8%. Profit after tax increased by 4.3% to ₹141 crore, with a profit margin of 14.1%. Earnings per share also rose by 4.3% to ₹10.50. Additionally, Tanla reported a free cash flow of ₹74 crore and a cash balance of ₹757 crore.

Our ~3X growth over the year, coupled with the go-live of the MaaP platform, showcases our leadership in the OTT space. Our partnership with a global tech major on Wisely ATP to combat scams is a huge step in tackling this global menace. We are moving in the right direction to elevate our growth trajectory.”

During the quarter, Tanla achieved several significant milestones. The company was again named a ‘Visionary’ in the 2024 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS). Tanla also signed a commercial deal with a major global tech company to use Wisely ATP to detect fraudulent phone numbers on their messaging platform. Tanla’s MaaP platform for Google RCS also went live in July 2024.
