TCS Expands Google Cloud Partnership with New Cybersecurity Solutions

On September 3, 2024, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced an expanded partnership with Google Cloud to introduce two new cybersecurity solutions. These solutions aim to boost cyber resilience and leverage advanced TCS and Google Cloud technologies.

The TCS Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solution, using the Google Security Operations platform, will help security teams detect and respond to threats. It combines Google Cloud’s advanced threat detection with TCS’ expertise to provide continuous security monitoring and 24/7 response.

The TCS Secure Cloud Foundation enhances cloud security by integrating Google Cloud’s security features. It improves security and governance across various cloud environments—whether single, multi, or hybrid—by embedding security measures throughout the DevSecOps lifecycle. This solution uses AI, machine learning, and automation to monitor risks, spot issues, and suggest corrective actions.

TCS has already implemented both solutions with several clients. For instance, the Secure Cloud Foundation solution has helped a major global bank based in Germany automate and manage over 800 security policies during both build-time and runtime, ensuring they meet regulatory compliance requirements.
