TCS Partnership with the Bank of Bhutan

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a worldwide leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions, has unveiled a strategic partnership with the Bank of Bhutan aimed at modernising the bank’s digital infrastructure to improve customer service. 

 

As part of this initiative, TCS will deploy its TCS BaNCS Global Banking Platform, which will assist the bank in streamlining its operations and ensuring smooth integration with various public services in the nation’s digital ecosystem.

About Bank of Bhutan

The Bank of Bhutan, the country’s largest commercial bank boasting over 400,000 customers and 45 branches, has been collaborating with TCS since 2016 to facilitate its growth. 

 

In a bid to strengthen this partnership, the bank will now implement the TCS BaNCS Global Banking Platform, which will improve its services in various areas, including customer deposits, loan management, retail banking, trade finance, and beyond.

The Bank of Bhutan has implemented the TCS BaNCS™ Global Banking Platform to foster innovation, improve customer experience, and aid in Bhutan’s objectives for digitisation and digital currency. This API-rich platform allows for quick product launches, and effortless integration with third-party applications, and is well-equipped for future advancements driven by artificial intelligence.

The Bank of Bhutan has chosen TCS BaNCS to upgrade its operations, streamline processes, and improve customer experiences. This platform is relied upon by more than 30% of the world’s population and manages 1 billion accounts.
