The benchmark index S&P BSE 500 opened today at 26,971.36 and made its day high at 26,991.59 and it is trading in red, down by around 0.20%

Shares of Alok Industries Limited were trading today with an up move by more than 6.4% on BSE. The scrip closed on Wednesday at Rs 15.48 and opened on Thursday at Rs 15.50 a piece. Shares touched their day high today at Rs 16.74 after the surge. The 52-week high of the stock stood at Rs 21.70, whereas the 52-week low is Rs 10.07. Presently, promoters are holding a 75% stake in the company whereas, the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 2.48% and 22.51%, respectively.                                                                                                       

Another top player today is India Cements Limited. Shares were trading today with an up move by more than 6.8% on BSE today. The stock opened today at Rs 230.65 a piece and touched its day high today at Rs 246.95. The 52-week high of India Cements Limited stood at Rs 298.45, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 167.05. Presently, promoters are holding a 28.42% stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 23.08% and 48.52%, respectively.                       

One more top gainer today which shot up by more than 7.5% is FDC Limited. The stock opened at Rs 422 and touched its fresh 52-week high today at Rs 428 after the surge. On Wednesday the shares closed at Rs 388.20 a piece. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 428 whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 245. Currently, promoters are holding around 69.49% stake in the company whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 11.19% and 19.32%, respectively.
