The benchmark index S&P BSE 500 opened today at 27,975.53 and made its day high at 28,026.55 and it is currently trading in green, up by more than 0.40%.                         

From the same space, these are the top 3 companies that outperformed the benchmark index and were up by more than 6% today.              

Shares of UCO Bank Limited were trading today with an up move by more than 9.1% on BSE. The scrip closed on Thursday at Rs 37.02 and opened today at Rs 37 a piece. Shares touched their fresh 52-week high today at Rs 40.63 after the surge. The 52-week high of the stock stood at Rs 40.63, whereas the 52-week low was Rs 11.46. Presently, promoters are holding a 95.39% stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 1.40% and 3.20%, respectively.                   

Another top player today is Restaurant Brands Asia Limited. Shares were trading today with an up move by more than 7.70% on BSE today. The stock opened today at Rs 133.30 a piece and touched its fresh 52-week high today at Rs 137.85. The 52-week high stood at Rs 137.85, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 83.71. On Thursday the shares closed at Rs 279.20 a piece. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 318.55 whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 224.20. Currently, the promoters hold a 63.84% stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 4.15% and 32.02%, respectively.
