Thomas Cook (India) Limited informed the stock exchanges about the opening of the latest resort, Sterling Banashree Badami, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Sterling Holiday Resorts Limited.

Sterling Banashree Badami is a charming resort located in the historic city of Badami, Karnataka. This new property enhances Sterling’s expansive portfolio of over 50 resorts across India, offering a distinctive blend of historical allure, adventure, and natural beauty.

Badami, situated in the heart of Karnataka, is renowned for its rich cultural heritage and architectural splendour. The city is famous for its rock-cut cave temples adorned with intricate carvings, reflecting the grandeur of the Chalukya dynasty. Nearby Pattadakal, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and Aihole, recognised as the “Cradle of Indian Temple Architecture,” further emphasise the region’s historical significance. Additionally, Badami’s unique sandstone formations make it an ideal destination for rock climbing enthusiasts.
