The company stated that the state-of-the-art facility will be dedicated to new product development for Train Control & Monitoring Systems (TCMS) and advanced Propulsion Systems, revolutionising the future of rail transportation in India. The engineering centre will be instrumental in carrying out TRSL’s ongoing and future projects related to rolling stock and propulsion, such as the Surat and Ahmedabad Metro, Vande Bharat, ICF EMU/MEMU, showcasing the company’s steadfast dedication to the ‘Make-in-India’ and ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ initiatives for a developed India.

Equipped with state-of-the-art technology and infrastructure, the new centre is tailored to cultivate innovation and teamwork among TRSL’s engineers and designers. The company plans to recruit skilled engineers for this facility across various rolling stock disciplines.
