Today’s market report highlights the positive start of the Nifty 50 index with a gap-up opening at 20,950.75, in line with the upward trend of the past seven trading sessions. In sector performance, Nifty Healthcare and Nifty Bank faced downward pressure, while Nifty Media and Nifty IT showed strong gains. In the broader market, both Nifty Midcap 100 and Nifty Smallcap 100 reflected an overall positive sentiment, closing in the green.
