HDFC Life, Dr Reddy’s, Grasim Among Top Gainers of the Day Despite Market Dip

On October 16, 2024, the benchmark equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty50, closed in the red on Wednesday. The BSE Sensex dropped by 318.76 points, or 0.39%, finishing at 81,501.36. Similarly, the Nifty50 fell by 86.05 points, or 0.34%, ending at 24,971.30.

• HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd’s share price opened at ₹723.45 and closed at ₹727.00. In Q2 FY25, the company’s revenue jumped by 22.87%, and profit increased by 15.07%. However, on a quarter-over-quarter basis, revenue saw a modest growth of 5.8%, while profit declined by 9.14%.
• Dr Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd’s share price opened at ₹6,640.00 and closed at ₹6,700.00. 
• Grasim Industries Ltd’s share price opened at ₹2,725.10 and closed at ₹2,764.40.
