Benchmark indices BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty50 closed the week’s final trading session in the red. Both exchanges, BSE and NSE, will be closed tomorrow, Friday, November 15, 2024, in observance of Prakash Gurpurb Sri Guru Nanak Dev Jayanti, making today the last trading day of the week.

The BSE Sensex dropped by 110.64 points, or 0.14%, finishing at 77,580.31, while the NSE Nifty50 declined 26.35 points, or 0.11%, to close at 23,532.70.

1. Hindustan Unilever

Hindustan Unilever share price closed at ₹2,392.95, reflecting a decline of 2.92%. 

2. Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd

BPCL share price closed at ₹298.2, reflecting a decline of 2.5%. Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) reported a significant 72% drop in standalone net profit to ₹2,397 crore, down from ₹8,501 crore in the same period last year, due to declining refinery and marketing margins.

3. Britannia Industries

Britannia Industries share price closed at ₹4,922.10, reflecting a decline of 2.47%. FMCG major Britannia Industries Ltd reported a 10% drop in consolidated net profit to ₹531 crore for the September 2024 quarter, down from ₹588 crore a year earlier. Meanwhile, revenue from operations grew 5% year-on-year to ₹4,668 crore, up from ₹4,433 crore in the same period last year.

4. Tata Consumer Products

Tata Consumer Products share price closed at ₹930.40, reflecting a decline of 2.35%. In Q2 FY25. revenue from operations for the quarter was ₹4,214 crore, marking a 13% increase from ₹3,734 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.

5. Nestle India

Nestle India share price closed at ₹2,188.00, reflecting a decline of 2.11%.
