On November 18, 2024, the benchmark indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty50, ended Monday’s trading session in the red due to weak global market trends.

The BSE Sensex dropped 241.30 points, or 0.31%, to close at 77,339.01. During the session, it traded within a range of 76,965.06 to 77,886.97. Similarly, the NSE Nifty50 fell 78.90 points, or 0.34%, to settle at 23,453. The index fluctuated between 23,350.40 and 23,606.80 throughout the day.

Tata Consultancy Services share price closed at ₹4,017.15, reflecting a decline of 3.11%. 

  • Dr Reddy’s Laboratories

Dr Reddy’s Laboratories share price closed at ₹1,193.00, reflecting a decline of 2.75%. For Q2FY25, the company reported a 9.5% decline in consolidated net profit, which fell to ₹1,342 crore compared to ₹1,482 crore during the same quarter last year.

  • Infosys 

Infosys share price closed at ₹1,815.0, reflecting a decline of 2.65%. The company posted a consolidated net profit of ₹6,506 crore in Q2FY25, a 2.2% rise compared to the previous quarter. Revenue from operations increased 4.2% quarter-on-quarter to ₹40,986 crore.

  • Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd

BPCL share price closed at ₹290.4, reflecting a decline of 2.62%. The company reported a net profit of ₹2,397 crore for the July-September quarter. Compared to the previous quarter, net profit dropped by 20.5%.

  • Cipla 

Cipla share price closed at ₹1,464.0, reflecting a decline of 2.38%. The stock has risen 18.56% over the past year, compared to a 19.08% gain in NIFTY and a 37.04% rise in the Nifty Pharma index. Today marks the fifth consecutive session of decline for Cipla.
