Top Losers of the Day – Bajaj Auto Drops Amid Market Rally on November 22, 2024

On November 22, 2024, the benchmark indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty50, closed the week’s last trading session with strong gains, rising over 2%. 

The BSE Sensex surged 1,961.32 points (2.54%) to close at 79,117.11 after hitting an intraday high of 79,218.19. Similarly, the NSE Nifty50 climbed 557.35 points (2.39%) to settle at 23,907.25, with an intraday peak of 23,956.10. 

The stock market saw broad-based buying, with 49 of the 50 Nifty50 stocks closing higher. Top gainers included State Bank of India, Titan, Tata Consultancy Services, Ultratech Cement, and HCL Tech. Bajaj Auto was the only Nifty50 stock to close lower on Friday.

Bajaj Auto share price closed today at ₹9,468.00, marking a decline of ₹37.00 or 0.39%. The stock opened at ₹9,545.00 and traded within a range of ₹9,444.10 to ₹9,602.90 during the session. The stock remains significantly below its 52-week high of ₹12,774.00, although it is well above its 52-week low of ₹5,661.30. 

The company reported a 31.4% drop in consolidated net profit (PAT) to ₹1,385.44 crore for the second quarter of FY 2024-25 (Q2FY25). Meanwhile, its revenue from operations rose by 22.2% to ₹13,247.28 crore during the same period.
