TVS Motor Company Joins Hands with Indian Army for All-Women Motorcycle Rally

In honour of the 24th Kargil Vijay Diwas, the Indian Army in collaboration with renowned manufacturer TVS Motor Company has commenced an all-women Motorcycle Rally. 

This extraordinary expedition celebrates the indomitable spirit of women in the Indian Army, organized by Headquarters Northern Command, and named the Nari Sashaktikaran Women Motorcycle Rally. Covering the journey from National War Memorial in Delhi to Kargil War Memorial in Dras (Ladakh), 25 riders will ride the TVS RONIN motorcycle. It is the industry’s first ‘modern-retro’ model from TVS Motor Company. This 225cc motorcycle has been engineered and designed best-in-class, making it the perfect choice for this remarkable journey.

TVS RONIN, with its stylish design, advanced technology, and distinctive riding experiences, embodies an unscripted lifestyle for the new generation of urban riders. Its brand philosophy, “Live the Unscripted life,” stems from the motorcycle’s unique capabilities, enabling seamless rides in both city and open road applications. This makes it the perfect platform for the empowering all-women Motorcycle Rally, celebrating their courage and determination on this extraordinary journey.

The Motorcycle Rally will cover around 1,000 km, passing through Haryana, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh, reaching Kargil War Memorial in Dras on July 25 or 26, 2023. The riders will celebrate the armed forces’ decisive victory and pay tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation.

Today the shares of TVS Motor Company Limited dipped 0.98%. The 52-week high and low are Rs 1,384.55 per share and Rs 837.25 per share, respectively on BSE. The company’s current market capitalisation is Rs 63,317.24 crore.
