TVS Srichakra Unveils Steel-Belted Agro-Industrial Radial Tyres at The Tire Cologne 2024

On June 6, 2024, TVS Srichakra Limited announced in an exchange filing that they launched new Steel-Belted Agro-Industrial Radial Tyres at The Tire Cologne 2024, one of the world’s foremost trade fairs for the tyre industry.

The leading tyre manufacturer showcased its top products at Hall 6.1 Booth: C050–C054 during the three-day Cologne event in Germany.

The recently introduced Steel Belted Agro-Industrial Radial Tyre marks a pioneering entry into this sector. It’s specifically engineered for deployment primarily in telescopic handlers, compact wheel loaders, and backhoe loaders involved in agricultural and industrial tasks. Two of the three available sizes were exhibited: 460/70R24 for telehandlers and 340/80R18 for backhoe loader front axle applications.

In the two-wheelers segment, the exhibition featured Roadhound, Protorq Extreme and Bee Connect.

Bee Connect offers top-tier scooter tires ideal for urban commuting. Roadhound boasts high-performance qualities suitable for sport touring, equipped with quadrazone technology. Protorq Extreme, Eurogrip’s steel belt radial, caters to sporty riders for both track and road usage.

The off-road selection includes the Climber XC, Climber XC-R, and Climber MX Junior, which meet the demands of Motocross and Enduro enthusiasts. The soon-to-be-launched Trail Road range, featuring Trailhound SCR and Trailhound STR, was also showcased.

The company also displayed their complete range of agricultural radial patterns at the expo, including the prime mover patterns like the RC 900 Rowcrop radial, HS 3000 radial tyre with VF (Very High Felxion) technology, Tigertrac AR 800 tractor radial and the HS 1000 R-1 tyre for combine harvesters and spreaders. FL 909 steel-belted tyre was also showcased in the flotation radial segment. Flotation, tractor rear and front tyres were displayed under the bias agricultural tyres range.

The Tire Cologne 2024 hosted over 370 exhibitors showcasing their latest innovations. Motor vehicles and tyre workshop equipment were prominently featured alongside tyres and wheels. The event also emphasised tyre retreading and the recycling and disposal of old tyres. With a significant increase in exhibitors by over 85%, the expo served as a key international networking platform for established and emerging companies shaping the industry’s future.

Sharing his thoughts about the occasion, the Business Head of Off-Highway Tyres (OHT), Karthikeyan S, said, “We are extremely happy to have launched our new and premier products at The Tire Cologne 2024.
