Established in 1995, Udayshivakumar Infra Limited advocated for the implementation of infrastructure projects. In addition to searching for opportunities in major industrial and infrastructure projects, the Founding Board’s primary goal for the company was to develop its activities in small and medium-sized industrial projects. They construct a range of road types, including National Highways, State Highways, District Roads, Smart Roads within Municipal Corporations, Smart Roads as part of the Prime Minister’s Smart City Mission, and Local Area Roads in various Taluka locations. The company’s primary operations are in Karnataka, where they offer to build industrial zones, roads, bridges, irrigation systems, and canals through bidding. This includes work for the State Highway Development Corporations Ltd. (SHDP), the National Highways (MORTH), and a number of government agencies, such as the Davanagere Harihara Urban Development Authority (DHUDA), the Karnataka Public Works, Ports, and Inland Water Transport Department (KPWP & IWTD).

Udayshivakumar joint venture with KMCCL:

In a joint venture with KMC Construction Ltd (KMCCL), Udayshivakumar Infra Ltd declared on Thursday that it has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for three major National Highway projects in Karnataka, totaling Rs. 1,057.3 crore. In the state of Karnataka, “The Udayshivakumar Infra Limited has entered three Nos. Joint Venture with KMCCL for bidding of National Highways Project works under EPC mode and all three Joint Ventures have won the bidding and become the L1 (Lowest Bidder No.1),” per a stock exchange filing.

Project Details of Rs. 1057 crore:

The widening of a 36.5 km section of NH-69, Honnavar-Chittoor Section, is the largest project, costing Rs. 366.19 crore. Expanding two lanes on NH-150A, a 48-kilometer stretch from KB Cross to Nelligere, is the second project, valued at Rs. 299.19 crore. The third project, estimated at Rs. 391.92 crore, involves expanding a 60.2 km section of NH-548 B from Chikkodi to Murgundi. The duration of each individual project is 24 months. Letters of Acceptance from the National Highways Authority of India are currently being awaited by UIL and KMCCL in order to proceed with the execution.

Udayshivakumar Infra Ltd Stock is 5% up in Intraday:

Following the announcement that Rs. 1057 crore had been secured for National Highway projects in Karnataka, the stock of Udayshivakumar Infra Ltd is currently trading at Rs. 62.58 per share, representing a 5% increase today.

Conclusion: As a result of the consistent projects created for the state of Karnataka, Udayshivakumar Infra Ltd and KMCCL will benefit for a long time from this. They are currently awaiting a Letter of Acceptance from the NHAI to begin all three of these projects.
