Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 01 April, 2024

On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 525 points or 0.72% at 74,175, while the Nifty-50 up around 185 points or 0.83% at 22,512. About 2,807 shares have advanced; 464 declined and 143 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were JSW Steel Ltd, Tata Steel Ltd and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Bharti Airtel Ltd, IndusInd Bank and Titan Company Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in green with the BSE Mid-cap index up 1.22% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 2%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Castrol India Ltd and Vodafone Idea Ltd, while the top small-cap gainers were EKI Energy Ltd and PNB Housing Finance Ltd.

All the sectoral indices were trading in the green with BSE Utilities Index and BSE Realty Index being the top gainers. The BSE Utilities Index surged by 2.10%, up by Torrent Power Ltd and KPI Green Energy Ltd while the BSE Realty Index surged by 1.80%, up by Prestige Estates Projects Ltd and Macrotech Developers Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Gensol Engineering Ltd, Salasar Techno Engineering Ltd and JTL Industries Ltd.
