Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 1 December, 2023

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with the Sensex up around 470 points or 0.70% at 67,458 while the Nifty-50 up around 131 points or 0.65% at 20,265. About 2,346 shares have advanced, 1,117 declined, and 181 are unchanged on the BSE. 

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were NTPC Ltd, ITC Ltd and Larsen & Toubro Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Titan Company Ltd, Infosys Ltd  

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.78% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.65%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Macrotech Tech Developers Ltd and Bank of India while the top small-cap gainers were Datamatics Global Services Ltd and Arvind Smart Spaces Ltd. 

The BSE Power Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Information Technology Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Power Index soared 2.56% led by NTPC Ltd and Adani Power Ltd while the BSE Information Technology Index was down 0.08% dragged down by Wipro Ltd and Newgen Software Technologies Ltd.  

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending:  Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd, REC Ltd and Power Finance Corporation Ltd
