Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 01 March, 2024

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 230 points or 0.31% at 73,225, while the Nifty-50 was up around 215 points or 0.98% at 22,198. About 2,381 shares have advanced; 774 declined; and 86 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Tata Steel Ltd, Larsen & Toubro Ltd, and Tata Motors Ltd while the top Sensex losers were HCL Technologies Ltd, Tech Mahindra Ltd, and Infosys Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the green, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.55% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.74%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Oil India Ltd and NHPC Ltd, while the top small-cap gainers were Kalyani Steels Ltd and Rico Auto Industries Ltd.

The BSE Metals Index was the top gaining among the sectoral indices, soaring 0.85% led by JSW Steel Ltd and Steel Authority of India Ltd. The BSE Realty Index was the top losing sector, down 0.18% dragged down by Macrotech Developers Ltd and The Phoenix Mills Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Suven Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Dishman Carbogen Amcis Ltd, and CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd.
