Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 1 November, 2023

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading lower, with the Sensex down around 80 points or 0.12% at 63,795, and the Nifty-50 down 10 points or 0.05% at 19,070. About 1,286 shares had advanced, 1,646 had declined, and 109 remained unchanged on the BSE at the time of writing this article.

Turning your attention to the top gainers and losers, the top Sensex gainers were Larsen and Toubro Limited, Mahindra & Mahindra, and Tata Motors, whereas the top Sensex losers were JSW Steel, Bharti Airtel, and Tata Steel Limited. 

When tracking the indices listed on the BSE, the broader market indices showed mixed sentiment, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.13% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.21%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Vodafone Idea Limited and Patanjali Foods Limited, while the top small-cap gainers were Balu Forge and Rattanindia Enterprises Limited.

Exploring the sectoral indices, the BSE Realty Index emerged as the top gainer among the sectoral indices, and the BSE Metal index stood out as the top loser. The BSE Realty Index soared 2.03%, led by DFL Limited and Macrotech Developers Ltd, while the BSE Oil & Gas Index was down 0.54%, dragged down by Jindal Steel and JSW Steel Limited. 

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Sky Industries, Malu Paper Mills, and GFL Limited.
