Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 10 July, 2024

On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading in the red with the Sensex down around 786 points or 0.98% at 79,565, while the Nifty-50 was down around 233 points or 0.96% at 24,198. About 835 shares have advanced; 2,848 declined and 140 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Maruti India Ltd, Titan Ltd and Asian Paints Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, HCL Technologies Ltd and Tata Steel Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the red with the BSE Mid-cap index down 1.21% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.41%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Rail Finance Corporation Ltd and Rajesh Exports Ltd. In contrast, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd and Hi-Tech Pipes Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

All sectoral indices were trading in red where the BSE Auto Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Consumer Durables Index plunged by 1.92%, down by Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd and Exide Industries Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: L.G.Balakrishnan & Bros.Ltd, GHCL Ltd and Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd.
