Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 12 February, 2024

On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading in the red with the Sensex down around 345 points or 0.48% at 72,238 while the Nifty-50 down around 134 points or 0.61% at 21,650. About 1,057 shares have advanced, 2,618 declined and 159 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:
The top Sensex gainers were HCL Technologies Ltd, Wipro Ltd and Infosys Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were NTPC Ltd, Power Grid Corporation Ltd and State Bank of India.

The indices in the broader markets were trading lower, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 1.70% and the BSE Small-cap index down 1.90%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were MRF Ltd and JSW Energy Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Rane (Madras) Ltd and Kovai Medical Center & Hospital Ltd.

The BSE Information Technology Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Utilities Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Information Technology Index soared 0.55% led by Mastek Ltd and KPIT Technologies Ltd while the BSE Utilities Index was down 2.53% dragged down by SJVN Ltd and NLC India Ltd

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Gensol Engineering Ltd, Indigo Paints Ltd and Star Cement Ltd.
