Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 13 May, 2024

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading in the red with the Sensex down around 515 points or 0.71% at 72,148, while the Nifty-50 was down around 145 points or 0.66% at 21,909. About 964 shares have advanced; 2,724 declined and 138 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Asian Paints Ltd, HDFC Bank Ltd and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Tata Motors Ltd, State Bank of India Ltd and NTPC Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading lower with the BSE Mid-cap index down 1.28% and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.37%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Gillette India Ltd and CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd. In contrast, BEML Ltd and D-Link (India) Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Healthcare Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Auto Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Healthcare Index gained by 0.09%, up by Dr. Lal PathLabs Ltd and Cipla Ltd while the BSE Auto Index is down by 2.30% dragged by Tat Motors Ltd and Finolex Chemicals Ltd Tube Investments of India Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: TVS Srichakra Ltd, ABB India Ltd, and Piramal Pharma Ltd.
