Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 15 January, 2024

On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with the Sensex up around 490 points or 0.68% at 73,055 while the Nifty-50 up around 128 points or 0.61% at 22,028. About 1,807 shares have advanced, 1,480 declined, and 122 are unchanged on the BSE. 

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Wipro Ltd, Tech Mahindra Ltd and HCL Technologies Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were NTPC Ltd, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd and Bajaj Finance Ltd.  

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.20% and the BSE Small-cap index down 0.07%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Aurobindo Pharma Ltd and Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were MSTC Ltd and Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd.  

The BSE Information Technology Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Power Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Information Technology Index soared 2.34% led by Wipro Ltd and Accelya Solutions India Ltd while the BSE Power Index was down 0.56% dragged down by Suzlon Energy Ltd and JSW Energy Ltd.  

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Man Industries Ltd, Vikas Lifecare Ltd and MAS Financial Services Ltd.
