Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 15 May, 2024

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 176 points or 0.24% at 73,280, while the Nifty-50 was up around 67 points or 0.30% at 22,285. About 2,382 shares have advanced; 686 declined and 90 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were NTPC Ltd, Tata Steel Ltd and Bharti Airtel Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Sun Pharmaceuticals Ltd, HDFC Bank and JSW Steel Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in green with the BSE Mid-cap index up 1.10% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.96%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Canara Bank and Linde India Ltd. In contrast, Thermax Ltd and Associated Alcohols & Breweries Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Realty Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Auto Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Realty Index gained by 1.50%, up by Macrotech Developers Ltd and Sobha Ltd while the BSE Auto Index is down by 0.10% dragged by Apollo Tyres Ltd and Ashok Leyland Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Balu Forge Industries Ltd, Canara Bank and Gensol Engineering Ltd.
