Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 16 January, 2024

On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading flattish with the Sensex up around 65 points or 0.09% at 73,385 while the Nifty-50 up around 7 points or 0.04% at 22,104. About 1,907 shares have advanced, 1,650 declined, and 148 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:
The top Sensex gainers were Bajaj Finance Ltd, Tata Motors Ltd and Maruti Suzuki Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Tech Mahindra, Wipro and HCL Technologies Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.43% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.33%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Yes Bank and Page Industries Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Atul Auto Ltd and ITI Ltd.

The BSE Consumer Durables Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Power Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Consumer Durables Index soared 1.28% led by Dixon Technologies Ltd and Titan Company Ltd while the BSE Power Index was down 0.76% dragged down by Suzlon Energy Ltd and JSW Energy Ltd.
