Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 16 November, 2023

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with the Sensex up around 415 points or 0.63% at 66,090 and the Nifty-50 up around 113 points or 0.57% at 19,787. About 2,191 shares have advanced, 1,336 declined, and 166 are unchanged on the BSE. 

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were NTPC Ltd, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd and Tata Motors Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, JSW Steel Ltd and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.  

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.33% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.55%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Solar Industries India Ltd and General Insurance Corporation of India while the top small-cap gainers were Mishtann Foods Ltd and KPI Green Energy Ltd. 

All the sectoral indices were trading in green with The BSE Telecommunication Index and BSE Teck Index being the top gainers. The BSE Telecommunication Index gained by 1.15%, up by Sterlite Technologies Ltd and Vodafone Idea Ltd while the BSE Teck Index is up by 1.05% led by HFCL Ltd and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.  

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd, Suzlon Energy Ltd and Gensol Engineering Ltd.
