Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 17 November, 2023

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading flat with the Sensex down around 13 points or 0.04% at 65,969 and the Nifty-50 up around 20 points or 0.1% at 19,785. About 2,109 shares have advanced, 1,279 declined, and 175 are unchanged on the BSE. 

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Asian Paints Ltd, Nestle India Ltd and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, Bajaj FinServ Ltd and Bajaj Finance Ltd.  

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.27% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.46%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Solar Industries India Ltd and Yes Bank while the top small-cap gainers were Apollo Micro Systems Ltd and Titagarh Rail Systems Ltd.  

The BSE Utilities Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Information Technology Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Auto Index soared 0.84% led by Hero Motocorp Ltd and Eicher Motors Ltd while the BSE Bankex Index was down 1.24% dragged down by Axis Bank and State Bank of India.  

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: BCL Industries Ltd, Suzlon Energy Ltd and Jyoti Ltd
