Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 18 December, 2023

On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with the Sensex up around 28 points or 0.05% at 71,500 while the Nifty-50 up around 15 points or 0.07% at 21,480. About 2,228 shares have advanced, 1,347 declined, and 191 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Sun Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Reliance Industries Ltd and Tech Mahindra Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were JSW Steel Ltd, ICICI Bank and ITC Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.34% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.60%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were IDBI Bank and UCO Bank while the top small-cap gainers were Geojit Financial Services Ltd and M.M. Forgings Ltd.

The BSE IT Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE FMCG Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Healthcare Index soared 1.05% led by Zydus Lifesciences Ltd and Aarti Pharmalabs Ltd while the BSE Realty Index was down 1% dragged down by Godrej Properties Ltd and Macrotech Developers Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd, Dhampur Sugar Mills Ltd and Fine Organic Industries Ltd.
