Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 18 June, 2024

On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 291 points or 0.41% at 77,281, while the Nifty-50 was up around 88 points or 0.38% at 23,553. About 2,055 shares have advanced; 1,604 declined and 204 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, Wipro, and Titan Company Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, UltraTech Cement Ltd, and JSW Steel.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the green with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.19% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.63%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Macrotech Developers Ltd and Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd. In contrast, Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd and Refex Industries Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Industrials Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Healthcare Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Consumer Durables Index gained by 1.61%, up by Voltas Ltd and Titan Company Ltd while the BSE Healthcare Index plunged by 0.55%, down by Sasta Sundar Ventures Ltd and Persistent Systems Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Kajaria Ceramics Ltd, HBL Power System Ltd and Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd.
