Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 19 December, 2023

On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading lower with the Sensex down around 64 points or 0.1% at 71,252 while the Nifty-50 down around 28 points or 0.13% at 21,391. About 1,788 shares have advanced, 1,711 declined, and 174 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Nestle India Ltd, Axis Bank and ITC Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, HCL Technologies Ltd and Wipro Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading mixed, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.44% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.11%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd and Oil India Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Tourism Finance Corporation of India Ltd and Shankara Building Products Ltd.

The BSE FMCG Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE IT Index was the top losing sector. The BSE FMCG Index soared 1% led by Kokuyo Camlin Ltd and Varun Beverages Ltd while the BSE IT Index was down 1.13% dragged down by 63 Moons Technologies Ltd and 3i Infotech Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: JTL Industries Ltd, Vakrangee Ltd, and Om Infra Ltd.
