Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 19 January, 2024

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading in green with the Sensex up around 411 points or 0.58% at 71,598 while the Nifty-50 up around 123 points or 0.59% at 21,586. About 2,661 shares have advanced, 914 declined, and 142 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Bharti Airtel Ltd, Axis Bank and NTPC Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were HCL Technologies Ltd, Reliance Industries Ltd and IndusInd Bank.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 1.21% and the BSE Small-cap index up 1.12%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Aarti Industries Ltd and SJVN Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Housing & Urban Development Corporation Ltd and Hardwyn Ltd

All the sectoral indices were trading in green with the BSE Telecommunication Index and BSE Industrials Index being the top gainers. The BSE Telecommunication Index gained by 1.68%, up by RailTel Corporation of India Ltd and GTL Infrastructure Ltd while the BSE Industrials Index is up by 1.41% led by Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd and Salasar Techno Engineering Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd, Housing & Urban Development Corporation Ltd and Aarti Industries Ltd.
