Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 19 July, 2024

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading in the red with the Sensex down around 303 points or 0.38% at 81,110, while the Nifty-50 was down around 115 points or 0.46% at 24,686. About 899 shares have advanced; 2,696 declined and 138 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Infosys Ltd, HCL Technologies Ltd and Asian Paints Ltd while the top Sensex losers were JSW Steel Ltd, Tech Mahindra Ltd and Tata Steel Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the red with the BSE Mid-cap index down 1.53% and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 1.65%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Mphasis Ltd and Crisil Ltd. In contrast, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Ltd and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE IT Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Consumer Durables Index was the top losing sector. The BSE IT Index gained by 0.35%, up by Subex Ltd and Nucleus Software Exports Ltd while the BSE Consumer Durables Index plunged by 1.50, down by Havells India Ltd and Dixon Technologies Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Kalpataru Projects International Ltd, VST Industries Ltd and Elecon Engineering (India) Ltd.
