Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 19 October, 2023

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading lower with the Sensex down around 376 points or 0.58% at 65,501 and the Nifty-50 down around 106 points or 0.55% at 19,565. About 1,514 shares have advanced, 1,868 declined, and 175 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were IndusInd Bank, HCL Technologies Ltd and UltraTech Cements Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Tata Steel India Ltd, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd and Wipro Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading lower, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.52% and the BSE Small-cap index down 0.05%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Persistent Systems Ltd and Tata Elexi Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Shakti Pumps India Ltd and Rushil Décor Ltd.

All the sectoral indices were trading in red with The BSE Metals Ltd Index and BSE Energy Index being the top gainers. The BSE Metals Index plunged by 1.53%, down by Coal India Ltd and Jindal Steel Ltd and the BSE Energy Index down by 0.86% led by Deep Industries Ltd and Indraprastha Gas Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: NBCC India Ltd, Rattan India Power Ltd and Titagarah Rail Systems Ltd.
