Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 02 July, 2024

On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading in the red with the Sensex down around 65 points or 0.07% at 79,419, while the Nifty-50 was down around 19 points or 0.08% at 24,123. About 2,225 shares have advanced; 1,321 declined and 157 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Infosys Ltd, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd and Ultratech Cement Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Kotak Mahindra Bank, Bajaj Finance Ltd and Tata Motors Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the green with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.10% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.45%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Solar Industries Ltd and Oil India Ltd. In contrast, Refex Industries Ltd and JK Paper Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Realty Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Bankex Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Realty Index gained by 1.75%, up by Godrej Properties Ltd and Sobha Ltd while the BSE Bankex Index plunged by 0.60%, down by Bank of Baroda and ICICI Bank.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: SEPC Ltd, Alankit Ltd and Jai Corp Ltd.
