Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 20 December, 2023

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with the Sensex up around 360 points or 0.50% at 71,795 while the Nifty-50 up around 122 points or 0.58% at 21,576. About 2,228 shares have advanced, 1,309 declined, and 156 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Wipro Ltd, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd and Reliance Industries Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were ICICI Bank, Sun Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Axis Bank.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.77% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.71%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Oil India Ltd and Sun TV Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were PC Jeweller Ltd and Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd.

All the sectoral indices were trading in green with The BSE Consumer Durables Index and BSE FMCG Index being the top gainers. The BSE Consumer Durables Index gained by 1.4%, up by Voltas Ltd and Dixon Technologies Ltd while the BSE FMCG Index is up by 1.30% led by Varun Beverages Ltd and Dodla Dairy Ltd.
