Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 20 June, 2024

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading in the red with the Sensex down around 145 points or 0.20% at 77,191, while the Nifty-50 was down around 34 points or 0.14% at 23,482. About 2,257 shares have advanced; 1,225 declined and 161 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Ultratech Cements Ltd, Kotak Mahindra Bank and JSW Steel Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Bajaj Finance Ltd, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd and Sun Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the green with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.35% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.71%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Endurance Technologies Ltd and UNO Minda Ltd. In contrast, Cosmo First Ltd and Moschip Technologies Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Realty Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Healthcare Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Realty Index gained by 1.22%, up by Macrotech Developers Ltd and Brigade Enterprises Ltd while the BSE Healthcare Index plunged by 0.30%, down by Global Health Ltd and Jupiter Lifeline Hospitals Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Best Agrolife Ltd, Newgen Software Technologies Ltd and National Fertilizers Ltd.
