Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 20 October, 2023

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading lower with the Sensex down around 160 points or 0.25% at 65,472 and the Nifty-50 down around 60 points or 0.30% at 19,563. About 1,827 shares have advanced, 1,587 declined, and 164 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Nestle India Ltd, Kotak Mahindra Bank and IndusInd Bank whereas the top Sensex losers were Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd and ITC Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading mixed, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.35% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.22%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Yes Bank and United Breweries Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Bombay Bumrah Trading Corporation Ltd and Sigachi Industries Ltd.

The BSE Realty Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE FMCG Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Realty Index soared 0.1% led by The Phoenix Mills Ltd and Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd while the BSE FMCG Index was down 1% dragged down by Hindustan Unilever Ltd and ITC Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: NBCC India Ltd, Sonata Software Ltd and Dilip Buildcon Ltd.
