Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 21 May, 2024

On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading in the red with the Sensex down around 210 points or 0.30% at 73,785, while the Nifty-50 was down around 45 points or 0.20% at 22,458. About 1,528 shares have advanced; 1,749 declined and 156 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were JSW Steel Ltd, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd and Tata Steel Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Nestle India Ltd, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd and Infosys Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the red with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.08% and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.23%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd and SJVN Ltd. In contrast, SJS Enterprises Ltd and Sudarshan Chemical Industries Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Metals Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Services Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Metals Index gained by 1.50%, up by Vedanta Ltd and Coal India Ltd while the BSE Services Index is down by 0.75% dragged by Delhivery Ltd and Tracxn Technologies Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Apollo Micro Systems Ltd, Bharat Bijlee Ltd and Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd.
