Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 22 April, 2024

On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 240 points or 0.32% at 73,325, while the Nifty-50 was up around 92 points or 0.41% at 22,238. About 2,440 shares have advanced; 709 declined and 108 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Wipro Ltd, Ultratech Cement Ltd and Tech Mahindra Ltd while the top Sensex losers were JSW Steel Ltd, HDFC Bank and NTPC Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the green with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.62% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.12%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Renewable Energy Development Ltd and Hindustan Petroleum Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Kalyani Investment Company Ltd and Bf Investment Ltd.

All the sectoral indices were trading in the green with the BSE Realty Index and the BSE Services Index being the top gainers. The BSE Realty Index surged by 1.2%, up by Macrotech Developers Ltd and The Phoenix Mills Ltd while the BSE Services Index surged by 1.1%, up by BF Utilities Ltd and Reliance Industrial Infrastructure Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Paramount Communications Ltd, Gensol Engineering Ltd and Jai Corp Ltd.
