Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 22 December, 2023

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with the Sensex up around 235 points or 0.31% at 71,090 while the Nifty-50 up around 76 points or 0.35% at 21,152. About 2,609 shares have advanced, 785 declined, and 170 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Tata Motors Ltd, Tata Steel Ltd and HCL Technologies Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Ultratech Cement Ltd, Infosys Ltd and HDFC Bank.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.94% and the BSE Small-cap index up 1.25%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Gland Pharma Ltd and Gujarat Fluorochemicals Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Rane Holdings Ltd and Antony Waste Handling Cell Ltd.

All the sectoral indices were trading in green with The BSE Metals Index and BSE Realty Index being the top gainers. The BSE Metals Index gained by 2%, up by Coal India Ltd and Tata Steel Ltd while the BSE Realty Index is up by 1.68% led by Macrotech Developers Ltd and DLF Ltd.
