Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 22 July, 2024

On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 20 points or 0.03% at 80,600, while the Nifty-50 was up around 7 points or 0.02% at 24,535. About 1,938 shares have advanced; 1,347 declined and 166 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were NTPC Ltd, HDFC Bank and Power Grid Corporation of India while the top Sensex losers were ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Reliance Industries Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the green with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.33% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.17%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Yes Bank and REC Ltd. In contrast, Sportking India Ltd and IFCI Ltd and were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Power Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Realty Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Power Index gained by 0.90%, up by Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd and NTPC Ltd while the BSE Realty Index plunged by 0.40%, down by Macrotech Developers Ltd and The Phoenix Mills Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: JSW Energy Ltd, RailTel Corporation Ltd and SJVN Ltd.
