Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 23 April, 2024

On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 155 points or 0.22% at 73,800, while the Nifty-50 was up around 41 points or 0.18% at 22,378. About 2,328 shares have advanced; 1,147 declined and 142 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Bharti Airtel Ltd, HCL Technologies Ltd and Tata Motors Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the green with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.40% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.88%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Vodafone Idea Ltd and Torrent Power Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Oriental Aromatics Ltd and Authum Investment & Infrastructure Ltd.

All the sectoral indices were trading in the green with the BSE Telecommunication Index and the BSE Realty Index being the top gainers. The BSE Telecommunication Index surged by 3.6%, up by Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Ltd and ITI Ltd while the BSE Realty Index surged by 2.55%, up by DLF Ltd and Macrotech Developers Ltd.
