Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 23 February, 2024

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex down around 74 points or 0.11% at 72,216 while the Nifty-50 up around 12 points or 0.05% at 22,229. About 2,147 shares have advanced, 1,431 declined and 134 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Wipro Ltd, Titan Company Ltd and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Power Grid Corporation Ltd, Bharti Airtel Ltd and Asian Paints Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.06% and the BSE Small-cap index down 0.38%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Sona BLW Precision Ltd and Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were SML Isuzu Ltd and Reliance Industrial Infrastructure Ltd.

The BSE Telecommunication Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Oil & Gas Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Telecommunication Index soared 1.13% led by Railtel Corporation Ltd and Vodafone Idea Ltd while the BSE Oil & Gas Index was down 0.90% dragged down by Gail (India) Ltd and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Vodafone Idea Ltd, Usha Martin Ltd and Adani Wilmar Ltd.
