Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 23 January, 2024

On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading in the red with the Sensex down around 100 points or 0.17% at 71,305 while the Nifty-50 down around 26 points or 0.12% at 21,546. About 1,310 shares have advanced, 2,302 declined, and 205 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:
The top Sensex gainers were Bharti Airtel Ltd, ICICI Bank and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Asian Paints Ltd, IndusInd Bank and HDFC Bank.

The indices in the broader markets were trading lower, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 1% and the BSE Small-cap index down 1.24%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were PB Fintech Ltd and 3M India Lt0064 while the top small-cap gainers were Salasar Techno Engineering Ltd and Vikas Lifecare Ltd.

The BSE Healthcare Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Realty Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Healthcare Index soared 1.90% led by Sun Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Apollo Hospitals Ltd while the BSE Realty Index was down 2.1% dragged down by Sobha Ltd and DLF Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: IFCI Ltd, Borosil Renewables Ltd and Cipla Ltd.
