Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 23 July, 2024

On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading in the red with the Sensex down around 175 points or 0.21% at 80,350, while the Nifty-50 was down around 65 points or 0.26% at 24,444. About 1,506 shares have advanced; 1,958 declined and 175 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Larsen & Toubro Ltd, Ultratech Cement Ltd and ITC Ltd while the top Sensex losers were HCL Technologies Ltd, Tata Steel Ltd and Power Grid Corporation Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the red with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.33% and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.10%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Rajesh Exports Ltd and Oil India Ltd. In contrast, PC Jeweller Ltd and BCL Industries Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Power Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Metals Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Power Index gained by 0.65%, up by Adani Green Energy Ltd and Adani Power Ltd while the BSE Metals Index plunged by 1.45%, down by National Aluminum Ltd and Vedanta Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Gensol Engineering Ltd, Suzlon Energy Ltd and Cellecor Gadgets Ltd.
